Coffee
Coffee Nursery seedlings are being loaded for distribution to projects in Poroma and Nipa, supporting local agricultural development.
Cocoa
Nipa Kutubu’s cocoa nursery is thriving with 15,000 seedlings. The farm now has 6,000 fruit-bearing trees.
Fish Farm
Fish farming in Southern Highlands Province aims to provide sustainable food sources, boost local economies, and create job opportunities for communities.
Rice Farm
Rice farming in Southern Highlands Province is being promoted to enhance food security, reduce reliance on imports, and create economic opportunities for local farmers, contributing to sustainable agricultural development
Coffee
Bee hives in Southern Highlands Province are being introduced as part of a sustainable agriculture initiative. Beekeeping provides honey production, supports pollination for local crops, and creates additional income opportunities for farmers, helping improve livelihoods and agricultural productivity in the region.
Potatoes
Hon. James Embia, President of Lower Mendi LLG, gave three bags of potatoes to each councillor as seed. This will help them grow potatoes in their wards, encouraging farming and self-sufficiency in the community
