SHPG sign agreement with JICs for Electricity
The Southern Highlands Provincial Government, led by Acting Provincial Administrator David Kelma, has signed an agreement with the Japanese International Cooperation System (JICS) to begin rural electrification projects at six sites. The designated areas include Ambupugl to Komoli, Kero to Kaka, Ialibu to Kagua, Map to Bela, Koen to Karel, and Pongal to Sumbra.
SHPG Bought Genset for Mendi Town
The Southern Highlands Provincial Government has purchased a generator set (genset) for Mendi Town to supply power to businesses, hospitals, schools, and banks. This initiative aims to improve access to reliable electricity, supporting local services and boosting economic activity in the town.
